After a bit more messing flicking from full beam to sidelights and turning the switch off made the lights shut off so it confirms that it's the comms unit thanks for the help guys I'm getting a second ...

Yeah mate constantly on, the sidelights turn on and off perfect as does the indicators and main beam so is it likely not to be the stalk as every other function works..

Switch are u/s ?? What's that mean pal and the sidelights come on and off but headlights stay on the whole time mate cheers
