What a nightmare today have taken out the fuel pump, car had much more fuel in it than we had thought ended up filling up the bowl shape thing that the pump sits in then running out all over the floor ... |

I have been using Shell's normal unleaded but after reading things on here am going to change to another brand.
As for the fuel economy had the car 11 months now and used to get 35-37 mpg from it ru ... |

Thankyou for all your replies I am so disappointed with the car it looks and drives fine but i really thought i would get more mpg than this from it i really can't drive it any more careful than i'm d ... |

I have 1.4 petrol 206 which the temperature gauge doesn't move above 80 is this normal ?? I am trying to get to the bottom of why it uses so much petrol it does 24 mpg.

UPDATE !! Have just filled car back up as gauge had dropped to nearly 1/2 tank again its click to say full but gauge still down on 1/2 tank, I am really starting to not like my car grrrrrrrrrrrrr its ... |

I will try that, is it worth getting friend to plug it into Snap on computer thing and see if there is a fault ?? |

when you turn the car off needle drops back down to empty turn it back on and it goes to 3/4.
What is the BSI?? |

Hello Went to get fuel yesterday had 3/4 of a tank, filled it up to the 2nd click got back in and the gauge is still on 3/4 hasn't moved up to the full mark at all have tried turning car on and off ... |

I've always normally had nice sporty cars ie Escort cosworth, Audi A4 tdi, Peugeot 406 executive, now got this 206 which was might to be a cheap to run around in and its not at all, quite disappointin ... |

Its had a wurth fuel cleaner in september made no difference to it.
Ipod has an app that you put in the milage, fill the car up then keep it full and every time to go to the garage you put milage, ho ... |
