knocking when changing gear is your engine mount just above the sump and the knocking when turning is prob cv joint |

i have had it read on a mates code reader but it didnt pick up anything or would it need to go to main dealers?
how much is BSi? and will one out of any car go in? and will it need coding? |

i wouldnt have thought it be the alternator as the car has only done 16k but i know the battery may have been swaped as i have cars standing and tend to swap batterys to get them going but i supose ch ... |

ok the battery terminals seem pretty tidy but dont know what the batterys like perhaps il give that a go?
would it bring up the other faults like anti pollution, abs and airbag?
