Hi,
I posted on here that my CC was overheating.
Did a compression test and one cyclendar was much lower than rest.
Paid 374 to main dealer to head gasket change which was by far cheapest quote.

Yeah done a compression test 13,12,9,13 bar so dropped off at local Peugeot garage..


Fingers crossed the head is not warped, they said they dont warp always.

Yeah 300 if head is not warped, I am guessing their high hourly rate is out weighed by them having done the job many times and now quite quick at doing.

No white muck in my oil, never overheated in ...

Strangly main dealer repairseems cheapest option, quoted me 300 if easy change and if skim not needed. Had prices of upto 500 from smaller local garages.

I think exhaust is whiter than normal and coolant looks quite dirty.

Hi,

I am worried that my 206 maybe about to develop an overheating fault.

Ive notice is starting to use/loose coolant and have to top up quite a small ammount each weekend and now in traffic it' ...

I'm trying to workout if my timing belt has been changed by a previous owner. I've loads of recipts, one tho I cant understand....

PT452 206 1.6 00 SCP @ 63.50
PT449 206 1.6 00 STP @ 79.80
