all the electrics come on, and the car just clicks when i turn it over |

well i put the new battery in, still doesnt start, this is going to sound really stupid id imagine, but do i need to get it bump started on the new one to start it charging or should it go straight aw ... |

And with the starter sounding like it's gone i don't think it's going to start to easily. |

I thought my battery had died and needed replacing, so i checked it with a multimeter and it's coming up with between 11.2 and 12.6 v.
This made me think it could be the starter motor, I have no i ... |

I disconnect mine all the time, but never taken it out, and it doesnt sound like rocket since doing it the safe way...

A GTI 180 is MULTIPLEXED.
The BSI must be shut down / booted up in the correct way else your risking having to bend over & Vaseline treament from the local Peugeot main dealer :wink:[/quote]

The garages want £90 so i think i'm going to buy one and do it myself. |
