Ok, I found the info I needed. The only difference seems to be in third gear. For 20CE45 the gear ratio is stated as 29x37 and for 20CF09 is is 32x41.

Can someone in the know tell me how will that ...

I am having problems with 206 1.4 2001 MA5 gearbox - the code is 20CF09. Can't find the exact replacement in New Zealand, and shipping from UK is horrendous, plus there would be no way to get any warr ...
