Hey Caroline,

I have the same peugeot age n engine which had the EXACT same problems as you this past week... I had 1 injector changed at a garage (£130), and still engine light beeping with power ...

changing the heater matrix is best left to a peugeot mechanic, I got 3 quotes from good standard garages who wanted from £250 - £400! as they basically didnt know what to do they told me they'd take ...

com2000 units are NOT CHEAP new.. i got mine done with Peugeot who charge £240

Sloshing sound from glovebox area or passanger footwell is most likely to be a coolant leak, meaning water is escaping and air is getting in to the coolant (NOT good!)

cheers pal for the ideas there, i've just had a new thermostat, a new water pump and a new coolant.
the sloshing water sound was there before I changed them, and now still after...

Ive got the same problem - check my forum.
First and obvious thing is your Heater Matrix! You may have air in the coolant which could cause head gasket failure (did on mine) so get it checked for air ...
