SO as its taxed do I not need to do anything when mot runs out, as long as its parked off road?

My mot runs out this month and I don't want to get it mot'd for a couple of months as it won't be getting used.
Do I have to inform dvla?

I don't intend using it till winter as I use mi Vespa in the warmer months so it wasn't moving till may for MOT, but due to the snow yesterday it was pulled back into action.

Mines on 115k and a total bag of s**t.
Not really, it's a nice solid car. It has a couple of issues that need fixing but I'm hoping once there done then I can get a year to 2 out of it without any ... |
