Ok, I've bridged the connector on the loom and switched the engine on, so far its not reporting the bonnet is open. So that leads me back to the switch.

Looks like the button gets half depressed when the catch is down (without any remaining force applied).

Also tried fully depressing the switch but it still reports that the bonnet is open.

I believe it is.

What do you suggest, closing the catch whilst the bonnet is still up and check that it's making enough contact with the switch?

Sorry I mean height rather than width.

Its a whole new arm from Peugeot Sport so it would have been done in the factory I guess. I'll try and get a photo up.

I think the only difference is the centre material used within the bushes.
