I have a strange metal clunking/grinding noise (kind of like a buckle clunking in a washing machine) coming from under the car. You can only here it at lower speeds but also when stationary if you pu ...

Well luckily my local 'trusted' garage can get a new cable for £15 and will charge £15 fitting so £30 all in. I think that's just for the one side though. I'd get the 2 done but i'm looking to ge ...

It's not uncommon to get the horn wet considering its position, which happened to me. Had to get it replaced. Can't comment on the air bag though but yours sounds more like an electrical fault than ...

I had an erratic rev counter once which also did nothing at times and it was down to a cracked ABS Ring.

A new exhaust may not solve your problem, it depends how far along the exhaust system you intend to go. Isn't the Cat the last sesction before the manifold?

Just parked my car today and when I pulled the handbrake up there was a loud click and now it rides far too high (almost vertical before it will click). I'm sure these are self adjusting but is there ...

If you had the same problem as me where the horn fuse would blow all the time (or putting in a higher amp fuse made it sound constantly (which is a bad idea by the way)) then you probably need an ECU ...

Anything decent seems to cost £15 or more for a single bulb, I guess it is a case of weighing up whether to buy cheap and just replace every few months or fork out more to last longer. There's no g ...

My misfiring GTi still has this damn fault coming up. It was very wet this morning and I lost power in the car as soon as I drove down the road. Re-starting the engine got it back to normal-ish. I ...
