Update, the problem is now solved. Ordered a new barrell from the dealership. So no need to get a complete set.

Yes my flasher uses the offset ones. I guess the folks were just cheap and hacked one of the lower pins out to make it fit in and hold with only one pin.

It doesn't surprise me. When I changed my rear lights, I discovered the orange flasher bulbs were just reverse bulbs with a sawed tooth to force it in place.

Don't quote me on this, I think the 1400cc one will fit. The bigger engines might not, like the 2.0. The only reason I didn't go higher on my engine swap was this.

I just had to change mine today. Paid 140 quid to buy, inspect and replace it. Granted its a friend of mine but still, a grand for it is too much. The gearbox came from a Saxo.

So you basically separate the key mechanism from the cover and swap it? Mine is a PITA to close atm and am tired of it.
