I think the solution lies in the voltage readings I got from the lower connector to the car stereo:
1 xxxxx 2 Grey 5 White 7 Red
2 Brown 4 Purple 6 xxxxx 8 Green/yellow
With ignition OFF:

I've just gone and had a good check of the fuses, I have the pre-plex fuse list, using my Haynes manual, I tested F2 (5A) Instrument cluster, it had no effect (as far as I could see in the evening lig ... |
