I think I may have a similar problem on my 2.0 Magneti Marelli 206. However I can't watch your video. YouTube says it isn't available.

Never needed to replace them, have you checked other parts for wear? Could be that the track rod is the weak link in a chain

I have a W-reg 206 GTi (pre-plex) with "RFR" in the VIN. Does this mean I have the "DEW10J4" engine variant?

And if so, what's different to the "EW10J4" variant?

I am looking to buy some new brake pads but apparently there are two different callipers fitted to the 136 GTi, the Bosch and the Bendix, and they use different shaped pads.

Hi,

The air con system is belt driven so you'll need to be able to mount the compressor in a place it can be driven by the aux belt. I'm not sure if there was a 1.9 a/c model, but if there wasn't ...

Now lambda is what I was thinking when I read the symptoms because if that is gone then it will be telling the ECU it is running rich when it isn't and then you'll defnintely experience these issues. ...

The fact it runs fine at WOT probably means it's nothing fundamental, so sensor is likely.
