Remember to tighten the cv joint right up as it nips the bearing together and takes the last little bit of play out of it. |

Has anyone had a 206 which runs rough when it gets warm and then just stops?
I can leave it overnight and then it starts first turn of the key in the morning.
It's driving me nuts. Its a 206 hdi 1.6 ... |

Check the front passengers abs ring etc. the 206 picks its speed up from there through the abs sensor. |

No smoke. It just throws fresh air out the exhaust.
I changed the fuel filter and I thought that was the end of it then it.
It ran faultlessly for 250 miles then I jump in it this morning and the so ... |

as the title says ive been driving my 206 hdi 1.6 and the car has hiccup at a corner then half a mile down the road it lost all power and stopped and wouldnt start again.

turns out that i needed 2 new abs rings and a speed sensor which was behing the bottom pulley drivers side.
Ended up with 2 new cv joints thou as they were dirt cheap on ebay.
Running like it should ... |

Just an update on this.
I had to replace the whole cv joint as my abs rings were 86mm which were near impossible to buy.
I managed to find some cv joints for £10.99 online (JR on ebay) banged them ... |

I've had it up on the ramp today and the front drivers abs ring is cracked.
New ordered, hopefully that should cure it. |

My 206 hdi 1.6 has started leaking oil from the gearbox.
Trouble is its everywhere so tracking it down is going to be difficult.
But in the mean time does anyone know where the filling point is?

There is a guide on here somewhere.
The bearings are about 40 for the beam but getting the old arms off is the tricky bit. |
