Thanks Mr Bsi. Understandably, but I knew you and others had a varied and wide knowledge of PSA and experience of owning other models, rather than just the 206.

What would make the ting noise? There was no noise until the 13mm bolts sheered off. Once replaced this noise started, but they are tight as can be. Sad

Agree with Steve206. A flush and coolant change my be advisable. Keep things from deteriorating. Smile

Thanks Edward. The bolts are tightened to about 40Nm. There’s definitely no play in them. The ting or pink or tung noise only seems to happen on a hard bend. Doesn’t really happen just over bumps ...

So would I! Definitely have the same thing or ting or clink or clang!

Is it really a case of banging the ends on harder or should a replacement ARB be sought, perhaps with new end plates?
