Gearbox drive shaft seal(s)..........you need to remove the drive shaft, prize out the seal and push a new one in, then refill the gearbox with oil. |

The cover is in two sections and if not replaced properly it will rub on the belt. |

Might be the pads lightly rubbing against the disc.........does the noise stop if you gently touch the brakes? |

The whine is definately caused by an overtensioned timing belt, get it correctly re-tensioned asap. |
