Mine is not the same as the one in the pic there, unless that is a pic of something different. The sensor was a b*****d of a thing to get to as well, buried properly out the way.

Well after removing the air filter housing, battery, and battery tray, I still couldn't get to where I think the sensor is. Only place I can see a sensor on the gearbox.
What have I missed? Or is ... |

Ah, so the speedo/odo is driven from a mechanical drive in the gearbox then? Is it the later models which use an ABS sensor to provide the speedo readings? |
