Just an update on this, had no issues since replacing the cable.
Car feels as good as when I got it. |

Have had the clutch cable replaced and the grinding feeling of pressing the clutch has gone away, feel as good as when I got it now.
Time will tell if the pedal flops again but I'm feeling positive ... |

Thanks for your reply. The garage said they thought something might be getting stuck on the cone (I don't know what this means) and when I give the pedal a stomp its unjamming.

Went and had another rev. The noise seems to stop when I push in the clutch. As far as I know the car (55 plate, 1.4 S) hasn't had any belt work done, but has only done 25500 miles, belt looks alright ... |

Noticed this noise driving today with the windows down. Any idea what it could be? You can especially hear it when you take your foot off the throttle.

Now all I have to decide is if it's worth it.. Owned the car over 1.5 years and it's never happened before, could it be the same again before it happens again, just wondering if there is any other adv ... |
