Yep exactly that mate clean up any remains of the sealant and apply some silicone sealer (wurth rtv sealant is my favourite) Apply a thin film and reattach allowing it to set before any fluids are add ... |

I assume that the garage checked to see if the firing signal for the injector was down at the injector plug. Also checked to make sure there is a firing signal for the spark plugs.

Check wheel bolts still tight
Check spare wheel cage is nice and tight.

I would avoid ECU testing if I were you we have had no end of trouble with them at work. Waited 4 weeks for them to repair an ecu, got it sent back and wouldn't even communicate with anything, waited ... |

Sounds like a solenoid failing, go round the car listing to each door/boot lock as you lock the car to narrow it down. |

One of the best things ive changed on mine was to change to a Leather steering wheel, feels much nicer in your hand, might be worth seeing if you can get one cheap off ebay. |
