I had my 206 HDI for about 4 years now thinking "it should die any day now" for that time but instead it went ahead and did 45,000 miles without much issues...

Ah.. no DPF on the 1.4's... Sounds like OP done a de-CAT then Wink

I know nothing of the 1.4 HDI so this will be my last post - but if it has electrovalves and vacuum hoses to control the EGR valve/t ...

Check the big negative wire from the battery to the gearbox/chassis or where ever it is it bolts on to.

Isn't the engine light on? Surely knocking the DPF out and not changing the ECU map would cause engine light + limp home mode (dog slow).

How much oil was coming out the turbo? Its normal to get so ...
