Yeah I got told engine flush can do more harm than good.
So just let the engine idle for a while so the oil is warm/hot For when you change it.
You can get some kind of oil that's supposed to quie ...

well a decent new battery would probably cost more than a starter motor to be honest, but from what you've said. i dont think it's the battery.
and i couldn't say about changing it, i've never done ...

what do you mean by which one?
there's only one starter motor.
but there not to expensive really, can get new ones from 30-50 quid on ebay.
can probably get a second hand one for cheaper, if any ...

yeah. but make sure if you buy new solenoids, that there the specific one for you're car. or else they wont work.

yeah you would definitely need to make sure it's had a fairly recent cambelt and waterpump change if you was going to get it with 100k on the clocks.

pretty sure they do just pop off, just have to be careful doing so.
