51 plate petrol car starts first time normally but on a cold morning sometimes it really struggles to turn the engine for 2/3 seconds then bursts into life. Battery is checked and fine. Any ideas ?

I have a standard RD3 radio/cd fitted and he cd has started stopping/cutting out for a second or two and then returns to where it stopped. The radio also is cutting out for the same amount of time. ...
