Changed all the linkages but there is still movement when in gear, you can't tell what gear you are in when driving.

Not sure what to do next, might have to bite the bullet and take it to a garage.

The long one doesn't seem to have any bearing on the left and right movement. I will change it anyway and see how it goes.

I thought 220 was a bit steep, it was bad enough I paid £30 for 4 injector seals which were just O rings.

After trying everything I finally took the car to the garage, apparantly its the fuel pump. They wanted 220 to fit a new one but GSF only want 82 including VAT so I will attempt it myself.

Possibly solved, the garage has said its the fuel pump but want 220 to fit a new one. GSF wanted 82 inc VAT so I will attemp it myself.

Just a side note, the coil pack I tried it with had a different colour connector. Mine is white and the one I tried it from was from a 1.1 not a 1.4 and it was grey. It had 2.2 something written on ...
