you won't get it past the bottom pulley so that has to be removed.
you dont need to pin the flywheel. the pulley is on a key way. |

If you put a VNT on you will need ARP headstuds. Could probably get away with a bit more torque out of the originals, I've done it to see what would happen, but in the end swapped them out one by one. ... |

in Peugeot planet you need to change the bulb type to twin (or something along those lines)
Had to do it on my 2002 HDi when fitting crystals. |

Have a slackened both tensioners? the sprung one and the one with the 1/4 square? |

Its mainly the gearbox sets the 15* engine tilt for the EW/DW motors in the 206 opposed to the 30* that the XU block takes.
Recently found this out on my 309. |

Unplug the MAF sensor, see if the car goes a bit better and you know to replace.
If you do need to make sure its a Siemens VDO one. |

pull the pipe off the end of the filter, have a bottle there to catch any fuel that comes out.
Is it low on fuel? i have mine be a bit of a pig when it was low and i parked it facing uphill. |

1.4HDi doesn't have a lift pump as you state.
Unless the fuel rail sensor sees 300 bar (iirc) the injectors won't open to fire - potentially worn pump
The Cam and Crank sensors need to be 'in sync ... |
