Thanks for your replies , car booked in the garage for Thursday, thought about doing it myself but never touched a timing belt and especially retensioned one , so £400 it is then !

Hi
It is a manual gearbox
The car did 180 miles today and the expansion bottle is about 50% oil but it did not overheat or misbehave ?

I wonder if anybody can give me some advise please, we have had a 2003 206SW 1.4 petrol engine for a number of years and it has done 70,000 miles now . The cam belt and water pump were changed ...
