Top engine mount will be causing the noise, will also do it on idle every so often if you listen out for it.
I replaced my top engine mount and still had the same noise, its the little metal strip ... |

As mentioned above, My Gti 180 breather was full of brown milky oil, and the oil cap was the same, but I did do a lot of short journeys ( 5 miles) worse comes to worse do a compression test, I did and ... |

common problem on all Gtis and GTi 180.
What spark plugs have you got in it?
Normally down to using NGK spark plugs, bad coilpack or even the hydraulic tappets. |
