its actually there to push anything thats flicked up and to push it back down so it doesnt hit the sump or sump cover

i have owned my 2.0 hdi for 7 years done 134000 miles in it of hard driving.. normally if the air bag light comes on or other faults that are intermitant like abs light , its normally the rear engine ...
