Ive had issues with the VVT solenoid in the past, replaced it cleared the faults on the ecu and it was spot on.

Start car from cold and engine idles fine, try and give the engine a bit of a rev and it coughs and splutters and tries to stall...
Will continue to do this untill engine is warm... bit of a smell ... |

check for any play on your wishbones... droplinks.. when my driveshaft was wore out it clattered when pulling away from a stand still. |

try jacking the wishbone up slightly .... i seem to recall this cleared abit of space to get the bolt out. had to use a pinch bar to get the hub off the wishbone aswell. |

Ive have just stupidly crunched my car against a bollard and the drivers side door is badly dented..... are all 206 doors the same as im gonna have to replace it..? |

I would say lower wishbones... I had the same clunking. Got a pair from euro car parts.
check your drop links too as mine went shortly after. |

problems always come at once dont they..... so far

hey where did you get it from.... I had mine replaced a while ago by the pug garage and cost well over a ton... it judders at low revs and seems to be right down on power. |

Im looking at replacing both outer cv boots and both lower wishbones.... has anyone replaced these, and are there any awkward bits I should be aware of before I get the old tools out? |

ive found these hangers for my gti 180 exhaust... http://www.priracing.com/product.php/1025/0/ they are about £9 each. my exhaust sways all over the place as the back box is only fastened at one ... |

I noticed the exhaust did not sit as secure as the original...
I think I remember a post from you a while ago about engine mounts...? where did you get them from.. |
