I've had mine in for sometime now BTW, did you notch your pistons for valve clearance, the valves on the 180 open more than the ew12s. I did on mine but I also kept the balancing shafts, |

I've fitted the gti180 flywheel to mine the flywheel is definitely lighter |

The motor could be tired, the wiring in the door hinge should be checked 1st. I've got a good door in KMF Agean blue for sale. |

Have a look at the relays under the cover on the left of the cooling fan facing outwards u should find corrosion |

lol hey I also have one for sale on eBay atm, I don't think it's worth it thou. The Rad gets in the way, the throttle body wouldn't work with the 180 Ecu, could be that it just was not working when I ... |

It's going to be the wiring, I've fixed many with out spending a penny.
I would cut the corroded wire and extend it to the force some exposed wire into the the top so the relay pun can force the new ... |
