It's not the relay or the stalk I don't think. It can be heard loudly outside the vehicle and is not the same as the clicking from the stalk you get when you put the back wipers on. |

I had the same problem except when the engine was cold it would start straight away but if it was warm and you stopped (say for fuel) it would take about 20 goes to get it started.

Thanks all! Showed OH this and he jump started it, we took it for a 30 min drive then after a break it restarted fine and had another 30 min drive to keep charging that battery. Seems fine ... |

^ This. Had the same thing on my mine and changing the temperature sensor sorted it. Make sure to tell your garage what the problem is though, took mine in and described the symptoms and they checked ... |

Ok so it's not the timing belt. Roughly how much will it cost to have a garage do it? I'm not mechanicaly minded at all so wouldn't attempt it. |
