Also so if the replacement pump does not fix the issue what else could be the issue as there is no knocking when the best is taken off |

Well took the car to the garage and they took off the belt and noise went (wipes sweat from brow) so not the engine.
Found that the Power steering pump had a lot of lateral movement, placed the bes ... |

Well i can hear it loudest through the the wheel arch of the drivers side
One of the pulleys?

Just got a 2002 1.4 hdi peugeout 206 last week and just today getting a loud tapping noise , the car still pulls runs fine but noisy at idle.
It does not matter if it is warm or cold and still dies ... |
