Since the engine compartment fusebox was replaced, no further problems. |

Main earth cable is good.
I tried the resync on the key but it is not making any difference.
I am reading a LOT of stuff about wiring loom issues on this model, not to mention ECU and ... |

Very wierd.
This eveining I went out and put the key in and it burst in to life !!!
So I sat in the car with the engine running , but about 10 min later there was a sound like soneting cut out a ... |

That must be fuse no 4. Multifunction display etc....that stuff appears to be working.
Can you please let me know the process for doing a key resync ?

Thanks for the reply.
Checked the timing belt and it is OK.
The way this happened is quite odd.
I drove the car the day before and parked it up. Then I went to start it the following morning ... |
