Ok, just spitballing, will the injectors from a GTI 180 fit the 1.4 8v engine? Just going off google image search it looks promising.

Ok after advising you about checking for a pollen filter, I to discovered I have a pollen filter. You can only imagine was nasty it was since I was never away of this. New one on order for Monday!

Does the model of car have a pollen filter. Often overlooked as a filter on cars so become damp and dirty and a health hazard full stop really.

Well tried several times to run through the BSI reset and I see the dials do jump alittle hopefully reflecting this, however the dial looks way off. So either a call to the dealer to see if there is a ...

It certainly looks to be a calibration issue. I have now noticed at ignition off the rpm needle drops way below 0 and is not parallel with the speedo needle at rest.

Got the same issue too. At first I was thought the boot wasn't shut properly, or accusing the fiancée she has left something in the boot.

However new to working on 206's so I was only looking for ...
