My guess is crankshaft pullley if its same as a 406 pulley.
Look at crankshaft pulley and see if its wobbling when running and or covered in rusty looking brownish deposits/dust..if so its prob about ...

I have just bought a 206sw 1.4hdi which has a very annoying clunk from its rear end.
