Hi guys on my 53 plate 180 there's a button by the handbrake, looks factory etc but I can't find a use for it lol what is it for?

I cant bud, the seat is stuck all the way forward so is literally sitting on top of the bolt Sad

The height adjuster works fine, also the seat tilts ok, just won't slide, I want to take the seat out to have a better look but as the seat is stuck all the way forward I can't access the front 2 torx ...
