On the 296 gti that I bought last year, it has got a silly lush start button fitted.
I believe that this is because the ignition barrel no longer has the "spring" on the last bit of turn that retur ... |

The odometer isn't illuminated on the car so I assume this just needs a new bulb?
So I disconnect the battery to do this?
Also, the middle display above head unit isn't on at all. Car has after ... |

Gearbox has a small leak , probably why the gearbox had no oil... its in tomorrow with a local mechanic to replace oil seals on the box  |

120ml came out... 2L or so went in...

Just bought a GTI138
Car engages gear 1 2 and 3 and reverse fine but screeches when engaging into these gears, except third, it won't engage 4 or 5
