When unbolt from front of gearbox just keep hands on it while extends.
But it does stop n not pop out!

Well what's the dealers age/mileage belt change?
Also what engine is it?

I'm sure when I rang peugeot about belt change on our 2.0 Hdi
I'm sue they said, 96k or 10years which seemed very long to ...

Yeah it's taxed on old style that's done on engine size

Mine a 2004 2.0 hdi cost me £145 a year

I thought the arms are all the same size, my understanding was
that they came with different bushes.
Like the gti arms come with better bushes in as standard

Check any pipes that return to expansion bottle make sure not blocked,
Also where they fit onto bottle.

As for water, how much you have to top it up with?

Sounds like head gasket. Your just burning the water in the cylinder, and
you don't always get oil in coolant bottle.
