I've been reading the threads & some say there are 3 sensors others say 2 & also could be a dash wiring or sensor fault

I'm Sheffield & the garage said they had an auto electrician test it & it showed a fault on the ecu but got no codes for me I feel I'm being ripped off & just told this to take my car back to them at ...

Hi, all I know is it's the green sensor next to the blue 1 & on my bill it just says temp switch ?
