Will be the bottom pulley, if its the original they have a rubber middle which wears down and fails.. |

Peugeot service desk at Newcastle didn't recognise the part numbers that i gave for the leak off pipes.
Had put my VIN in etc. |

That is based off the 206 service box however.
The Peugeot parts desk have the parts cheaper, leak off pipes for my 206 were going to be £140 according to Peugeot service box, but when I went to Peu ... |

Conitech are alright-ish timing belt kits.
But if you have the cash go for OEM Peugeot parts.
End of the day they didn't spend millions in research for nothing
Failing that Gates Powergrip belts ... |

Try changing the thermostat, and drain the radiator + water system.
then fill it back up and bleed the system, see if that solves the overheating problem.

To be honest, the 206 I've owned for the last year has been the most reliable french car I've owned, might be because its a diesel, but non the less, I've owned 3 Peugeot 106's and a Clio, and this by ... |

1.4 hdi does have its problems, not the turbo side of things though, never had a problem with that.
Only problem i've had is that the injector seals + seats wear down quickly if constantly abused wit ... |
