Parkers is so full of rubbish anyway. Not only that but different manufacturers measure times in different ways. Some with people + full tank, others with 1/2 tank and just the driver. Either way the 206 GTi is faster when in my hands.
Don't argue the opinions of idiots.
They will bring you down to their level and win through experience.

Calm down folks, at the end of the day it's close between the 2 cars, however the drivers in each car will differ too so figures are pretty much negligible!

haha!

Mattie, no need to insult Edward, just because he's arguing with you. Sounds like you've been backed into a corner and tried to insult your way out of it. How old are you? I know you love your C2 and think its fast (can't comment) but so too is the gti (when its not cutting out ect!)

I'd say there is very little difference between a C2 VTS and GTi, but I cant really confirm, having never driven a C2. (I go on autotrader stats, which seem more accurate than parkers or your general google crap).

OP - just get one! They're entertaining enough and if you haven't driven anything else of significant power, you'll be pleased.

My Point is. People are saying that 1.4 will do about 80... Soo How accurate or peoples opinions?

Is that ok with you?

No maybe i didnt make myself clear, never been the best at explaining things.

So here it goes...

Someone posted you cant trust what people say because they will be bias and not post true results. Then someone posted Saying his old 1.4 did about 80.... I then posted saying i have had my 1.4 upto 95 On the Clock or 90 on the TomTom Which is probably more accurate..

What i forgot to do was quote the post saying i had my 1.4 to about 80...

So my point is You cant trust what anyone says just try and see what you get(Legally)

Still dont make sense? Then forget it.
