Hi chaps
My car has rear drum brakes.
They are stuck, I've taken the handbrake off and moved the car forwards and backwards 1 metre.
There is now a 1m furrow in my drive!
How do I free the wheel/brake without digging a trench please? My drive cost more than the car LOL

When this happened to mine I was to be honest quite reckless and just put it in reverse then kept driving against it until it unseized lol not sure if there's a better way but it worked for me...

I think you can hit the drum with a Hammer all around the top (rotating ofcourse) and it will free. Or take it apart.

Lol Yea that happend on mine this weekend luckily i was changing them. I took the drum off and the whole breack mechanism came with it.

as stated above you just have to be ruthless with it but if that still doesn't work you'll need new brake shoes as the retaining pins have came ouut so the shoes have collapsed inside the drum trapping it on.
not a nice job getting them off when that happens :/
