can somebody tell me the best way to spray my parts . can never get the shiny finish , is there a guide or something , could do with knowing every step , help please thanks

I've checked the guides and there seems to be a lack of suggesting sanding between each coat.

I'm currently in the middle of doing a test on some rub strips, process so far:

Sanded the rub strips using wet/dry 800
Primed, sanded with wet/dry 1200 x 3
Painted, sanded with wet/dry 1200 x3

Next process for me is laquering (Laquer, sand wt/dry 1200 x7) but my question is once I have the final layer of laquer on, do I need to sand this back ? It will look quite dull? I guess polishing comes into play somewhere
