since ive had my 206, ive pretty much been planning on taking it off the road for a couple of months at some point to completly make it unique from paint to trim, i even wanted to do an engine conversion which i am capable of doing (not just talk) but thinking of it in the long term, my 206 is a zest it had come from an abused home before and its a 5 doors, the sweet change of plan is as follows... im going to get a GTI or maybe the diesel counter part pref on an 07 onwards but out of respect for Zoe the 1.1 Zest im not going to put her down ill drive her till her dying day probs even shed a tear when she gives up, i jus hope in the future i can find a low mileage example of a GTI =) maybe im a chicken but a 1.1 imo is not worth the time and money... plus insurance wont touch me in a engine switch as im only 20

Your better off starting from a better model if you have that many plans dude. Plus a 3 door shell and loaded with more goodies you may have wanted to add to Zoe lol. good luck!

At the end of the day its a lump of metal that will get shredded & recycled when it comes to the end of its days.
Save up £, get some more no claims bonus & buy a better base car to start from.
