Hi all and merry xmas Smile

I've managed to get to the bottom of why the car wasn't starting, there was a wiring issue at the Coil pack! Anyway... whilst we were fixing this I noticed there was a crack in a pipe which I need identifying.

I've got a feeling that this may be the oil breather pipe but can anyone confirm this?

It's cracked near the coil pack so would I have to replace the whole thing or just the part from the "y" backwards?

Cheers Smile

Easy Geezer.

That was my gut feeling from past exprience. It had a small amount of oil residue in it (when I snapped it off... whoops) but wanted to check before I phoned Peugeot and bought a new engine by accident hahaha Smile

I'd get some silicon tubing from Ebay and fit it. That's what I did, you just need to cut the existing tubing off the T piece. Will cost less than £10. I bet that hose costs a few quid from the dealer.

The part costs about £24 IIRC, the oil makes them very brittle.

£24 for a bit of tubing? They've got more chance of finding rocking horse s**t than me paying that.

I'll get some tubing as advised... cheers Smile
