right im gonna ask addaz very nicely to port mt throttle body Smile but i thought id get one of ebay in case i sell my other car and need my pug on the road, i looked and it come up with an electronic throttle body for 01 - 07 is that true for a 1.6 16v engine?

Are you going to port and polish the rest of the induction system? A little tweek to what must be 5% (or less) of the whole system is going to make no difference at all.
2001 GTi 138, Bilstein Sprint dampers, H&R springs, 21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars, 22mm rear ARB, Peugeot Sport Group A wishbones, 283mm discs, Goodridge stainless hoses, Maniflow 304 grade 4-2-1 2.5" manifold and system, 200 cell cat, Richard Longman head, 45mm Jenvey throttle bodies, 9.5mm TB spacers, 90mm air horns, Jenvey throttle linkage, Jenvey fuel rail, Aeromotive and Goodridge fuel fittings and braided hose, ITG sausage filter, Radtec custom radiator, Piper Ultimate Road cams, Piper vernier pulleys, Omex 600 ECU. Saxo electric PAS pump, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Samco coolant hoses, TTV steel flywheel, 4.76 final drive ratio, 307 CC 180 ratios. 2019 BMW 530i. 2017 Mercedes C300 convertible.

No point just porting throttle bodie, wont make no difference, polish the whole system

I think it has made a difference to mine, pick up feels improved and throttle response is better.

sprint boosters is just a piece of s***

it only shorten the time for you to apply full throttle (less pedal travel), which give you a fasle impression that the car is "faster than before"

pretty sure it only work on electronic throttle body
