Well sorry about the title if you misinterpret it but as you will now see from the pictures yesterday i took a trip to wakefield to have my car lowered off of 80brett i think his username is anyways i set off early in the morning and was caught up in so much traffic getting there Evil or Very Mad but managed to get there in good time. He cracked on with the job at hand and 4 hours later my car was looking as ive wanted it to look for like ages Very Happy

Oh and as for four hours that is because we came across a few problems, a droplink that was so stuck we had to saw it off at either end Confused

Anyhow heres the pics

 

 

 


all comments welcome of course Very Happy

oh and a few more mods to be done before the weekend hopefully so keep your eyes peeled for the next installements

What sprigs did you use at the front that's the height I wanted but spax let me down

yeah im tempted to go a bit more on the front but the sills are pretty much level Confused

and the rear is like 60 mm and my wheels are sat into the arches as you can see so dunoo really

it does scrape though even when there are just dips in the road Laughing

im not on springs im on coilovers Avo GTX i think they are and i honestly couldnt tell you what height that is either i just know its 4cm away from the top of the bolt hole on the bottom of the strut if that even makes sense Confused

trust me its 60 i measured it Wink

it is a gti 180 so naturally lower than other 206's?

and how much lower at the front i only have a hands worth of gap before i lose turning ability?

could go another 10mm at most i think but then it will sit nose down and i like it pretty level

i personally think 10mm more would be perfect mate maybe a tiny bit less. but its your car mate so you can choose! lol

Oh and so you all know i am running soft front and hard rear on the dampening rates and its awesome its like its glued to the road can really whip it into turns Very Happy

Nice! Doesn't need to be lower at front imo Smile
206 GTI, Ram air filter, lowered 35mm front, 50mm rear, Scorpion 3.5" Back box, phase 2 boot strip, m3 rear lights.. Not much more i want to do, just sorting the paint work out!
