I'm going to have to do this pretty soon.

Is it easy, or is a professional recommended?

I had a look through the how to's but I couldn't see anything.

Cheers Smile

Edit: I'm really sorry...I obviously couldn't see 8 posts down Sad

eaaasy

all you need is a torx set and a ratchet....

take the torx bolts out the back holding th airbag in...and then unplug and remove

then undo the big torx in the middle when the airbags removed..

then pull of, then reverse to fit new wheel.....

fat exhaust, dodgy rusty bonnet, stickers and steels....

As long as you get the correct BOLT on type / non plexed steering wheel its a piece of cake Wink

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes.

Airbag is held in with 2 screws from behind the steering wheel spokes.

One orange plug to undo & one push on wire terminal.

One wire screwed on to wheel.

DO NOT use the steering lock to hold the steering wheel while you crack the bolt!

Loosen a few turns BUT DO NOT REMOVE the torx bolt ( think its a 50 or 55 )

Smack the wheel firmily from behind using both hands

When the wheel pops free of the splines then remove the bolt.

Thats it basically.
