this happened in a pub carpark. the driver did a runner. ne one ne thinking on costs for repair??

How bad is the door shut creased? Basically the side of the lower B pillar where the door catch ect is? It looks like it delves in at that point Sad

the door is fine but from the start of the door the crease starts

i had one qoute £480 then another £300 not sure what to do

300 is cheap considering the work involve to fix a rear quartor wing

Same damage that i had on my car but slightly worse, however my door was affected aswell..

It looks like a new rear quarter is needed as that crease will not be able to be pulled out.

If you go through your insurance they may write it off.

onthats what i was thinking but is it two cheap??



also i pretty much narrowed it dowen to five guys. they all have vans drive to pub have 6 or 7 pints then drive home. when i conmfronted them as a group they offered me . i cant do with that kinda hassle. but i have reported them all and there regs to the police for drink driving their days are numbered

£300 is too cheap. rear quarter can be pulled out and the crease filled. the one that needs checking is the structural integrity of the lower b pillar. if thats buckled in the slightest it will be a write off i'm afraid.

well, you can always ask how are they going to fix it before they do the work.

at the end of the day it is just car panel, i wouldn't too bother

the car didnt seem to have shifted that much from where i parked it(as in sideways ) so im hopin he didnt hit that hard. but as i didnt see it i cant be sure
