quick question everyone.
are the mirrors off a 206 GT the same as the gti..ie will they have the heated glass and temp sensor like the gti mirrors.

Yes, but the GT mirrors fold.
I'm unsure if the plug is the same.

cheers. just trying to find out what colour the plug is now. am i right in thinking all white connecters are the same, otherwise it will be the brown/black connecter.

i dont think the plugs are the same... gt mirrors are the same as gti 180 mirrors though

so even if they are white connecters then they might be different to my white ones.

For plug and play you need white to white
or brown to brown
white = 3x3
brown = 5x2
no inter-racial relationships, unless you remove the connectors, then you can mate them and have a good time

do the GTI mirrors come in either brown or white variety then.
How hard would it be to take the connecters off and wire them up.
Got sold a pair of GTI mirrors and it turned out one was white, the other brown..trying to get another white one but could always mate them if easy.

They come with what ever connector the fitter took when he dipped his hand into the connector box.
Just take them off and join the matching wires. Just use a multimeter to test each wire if your unsure.

cheers LEE. well thats a pain in the backside..might as well have just used one connector..oh well.
Cheers meady..been looking at them before but already spent £40 on this pair and it's looking like it will cost me nearly that for one of yours..cant justify £80 as probably going to be selling the car in the next couple of weeks..will have a look at joining the wires if i cant get one cheap.
