I'm not sure about this, but I remember seeing an option useing the PP2000 to activate/deactivate airbags, but that will shut the whole system down, not only the side ones Sad

Thats why I said he needs to change to the basic airbag ecu Wink

Its under the front ashtray, sometimes its hidden by a flap of carpet.

1 large orange connector plug & 3 x m6 nuts secure it.

You need a airbag ecu from a 206 with just driver + passenger airbags.

Make sure the BSI is shut down correctly & battery disconected before touching the airbag system!

Thanks MrBSI, that was a quick response, and worthy info.

Ok, I looked under the ashtray and found it. The info on it is:
AUTOLIV
602 32 70 00
RGB ACU3 - V - 08 - c
08 VOIES POUR T10
Airbags and pretensioners

ok, if I look for the one with just driver + passanger airbags... how will I know if is the correct one?

Will I be able to set it with the Peugeot Planet 2000? (I own the chinese clon)

Thankns again!

It will have a different Autoliv part number on the sticker.

If its a unfired used one it will be simple plug & play

If its a new virgin unit you use Peugeot Planet to configure it BUT be warned you only get one attempt! ! !

get one from a scrapy and make sure to take it off from a car without accident in the front,or it will be burned, and usless,so find one with Driver+Passenger airbag, then take it off,and do as MrBSI said, they have the same plug,so it's just plug and play, what is different between the "AutoLiv" is the programme inside, which have the Airbag series,it's come with Row1,which is Driver and Passenger Airbag and pretensioners, and ROW2 for side airbags,...etc

So when you change it,and connect your battery back,if the Airbag light still on the dashboard, connect yout PP2000,and clear all the faults, make a Global test, and see what ECU got faults, and clear it,and everything will be good Very Happy

Thank you ALL, I see the change-the-ECU way is clear for me. I let you know when I do it beacuse here en Central America Peugeot is not that common, so second hand parts are hard to find, but I´ll do my search.

BTW, as I see good knowledge among you guys, do you know about the resistence of the LATERAL airbags and the way to connect it to the three wires under the seat?
I am trying to have another choice in the case I can´t find the single ecu

Sorry, I can´t use your language, I guess you have a lack of attention from people around you and willing to find it in forums, where the main objetive would be share knowledge and help others. Knowledge... may be you have it, but education.... well, by the picture (if that is you), there is no more time to get it. Peace man.. (or woman?)

Might be an idea to look on Ebay for people that post worldwide.
